THIS MOTOR CAR:
Built in 2015 or so in the UK by 911 Retro Works. This Slate Grey 911ST Evocation was based on a 3.2 Litres 1984 'G-Series' Carrera with 915 Gearbox. The car was stripped back to a bare shell and all the necessary modifications were made to "backdate" it to look like a 1970 to 72 model.
Everything was fabricated with weight saving in mind, F-series steel panels coupled with lightweight composite front & rear "pre-impact" bumpers and polycarbonate "lexan" rear windows were installed. Proper race inspired fuel filler on the front hood, drilled door handles, hood and decklid straps made of rubber. To complete the look, F-Series chrome rimmed headlights, 911R rear light cluster and chrome rear view mirrors were added.
This 911 was also fitted with upgraded adjustable suspension and modified brakes. The Numeric Racing shifter solved the notorious notchy 915 gearbox shifting experience once and for all. Engine was believed to be 'blueprinted' and fully rebuilt to ensure it was running at peak performance before being re-installed back into the freshly prepared shell and completed with Performance Exhaust system with a twin piped middle outlets. The car is torquey and noticeably stronger at high revs.
Inside, the car was built with touring in mind so although the interior has also been backdated, it is in no way spartan. It comes with really comfortable and reclining front seats covered in an attractive 'Houndstooth' Harris tweed with matching rears. The lightweight door cards has usable storage pockets and leather straps for unlatching the doors. It also has a Porsche Classic GPS Bluetooth stereo, speaker upgrades. And a big plus for Hong Kong's hot tropical weather, an electric air condition system.

CONDITION REPORT:
Restomod. The Slate Grey paint is almost 10 years old and is showing some aging and blemishes. The bodywork is in good condition, with acceptable panel gaps and shut lines. The brightwork and trims present well. The window seals around the body are still good. It sits on a set of genuine FUCHS unmarked 16-inch wheels completed with still fresh tires. Inside, a wonderful backdated black interior with elegant 'Houndstooth' Harris tweed on both front and rear seats. Ahead of the driver is a nicely sized MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, "Numeric Racing" gear shifter, Porsche Classic GPS Bluetooth Stereo. All necessary switchgear functions as it should and functional electric air conditioner.
