1994 Porsche 993 C2 Cabriolet | 498K HKD

An instant classic, the 993 generation of the Porsche 911 is now highly sought after. As the last of the air-cooled 911s, they are the most developed of the original formula that first appeared in 1963. Yet despite this old-world craftsmanship and the occasional sign that the fundamental architecture dates back to the 1960s, the 993 is impressively modern, even 30 years after its introduction. The sophisticated multilink rear suspension and massive rear tires make the rear placement of the engine a non-issue, while the twin plug 3.6 liter flat-6 is a torquey high-performance unit that is both tractable and full of character. The brakes, always a Porsche strong suit, are superb, and the gearbox is Porsche's robust 4-speed Tiptronic unit. Sophisticated and high performing but also capturing the essence of the original 911, the 993 is the best of both worlds. 993s are true classics that can be driven and enjoyed daily in modern traffic. For anyone seeking a stunning condition cabriolet with Tiptronic transmission, this exceptional car will please most of you.

CONDITION REPORT:

Original. The Polar Silver paint is in a good and well-maintained condition. The body and exterior trims of the vehicle are excellent as well. The car is presented with curb-free Turbo twist alloy wheels, couple with KONI adjustable lowered suspension (shocks and spring designed specifically for Porsche 993) The interior presents itself in an original condition. Although the leather upholstery were re-trimmed at some point, it looks and feels original. The audio head unit and speakers has been upgraded. The front truck area is clean with tidy carpeted lining with the presence of tools and a spare tire. Under the hood, the engine bay is tidy and clean, indicating a history of regular maintenance and care.

The car starts instantly, the motor provides a wonderful induction roar and the performance is genuinely remarkable. Especially when the top is lowered and the windows down, the sporty exhaust provides an exhilarating aural experience. The chassis is composed, tight, and authentic. The suspension responds much in the tradition of the 911, good grip and composure. The brakes offer a firm pedal feel and remain some the easiest to modulate.
