In 1974, BMW designers added the Lux package which focused on more luxurious interior features, such as adding a wooden accents, padded steering wheel and the seats were covered in velour similar to that used on the bigger six-cylinder BMWs. Furthermore, there were door pockets, a rear-seat armrest and velour carpets.
 
This particular car is a 1975 2002 Tii Lux, one of only 3,680 right-hand-drive Tii models. Only a very limited number of these came equipped with the Lux package. This BMW was imported and registered in Hong Kong in 2008 by the current keeper, but self transferred once so it is showing 1 previous owner on the HK VRD.

Condition
 
This 2002 presents in honest unrestored condition. The paint has visible patina and minor rust dots throughout the body. A noticeable dent is also present on front side of the left door. Interior is fully original, with period correct wear-and-tear and surprisingly holding up quite well for the age. Minor refreshment maybe needed for the sun-visor and headliner. Mechanically very healthy, engine starts on a dime, shifter is remarkably crisp, clutch and brakes are in good condition. The lack of AC may deter some buyers in Hong Kong.
