Daimler is the top of the line Jaguar, an upmarket sibling of the Jaguar XJ-6, the Six cylinder Daimler Sovereign was introduced in 1969. Like the XJ Series, enthusiasts tend to gravitate towards the 4.2L rather than its Double Six cousin simply because they are much easier to work on. These Daimler models were considered quite the "cut above" their Jaguar siblings and are rarer and considerably better appointed inside. Because of this they have long been the preferred transport of Ministers of State and indeed many a Prime Minister, from Wilson to Major has used these exclusive conveyances as their chosen modes of transport. These cars also have a reputation as being favoured by "crime" figures, especially in fiction, which is quite ironic really, when you think about it!

This particular car is an original Hong Kong machine with only 2 owners from new. Presented in a desirable British racing green and excellent condition throughout. The plush interior featured a nice 4 leather seats configuration. A great piece of automotive history to add to your collection at an attractive price.
